Defender Destiny Udogie has been acquired by Tottenham for £15 million from Serie A club Udinese.
The 19-year-old has agreed to a five-year deal, and add-ons may bring the price up to an additional £3 million.
The Under-21 international from Italy, who just recently made a permanent move to Udinese this summer, will be loaned back to them for the remainder of the season.
He was a left-back who played 35 league games for Udinese last season, recording five goals and four assists.
Udinese signed Udogie on a season's loan from Hellas Verona in July 2021, and were obliged to buy him this summer as part of that deal - by which time his performances had attracted interest from other clubs.
Udogie is Tottenham's seventh summer signing following the arrivals of Ivan Perisic, Richarlison, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence.
