Everton are in advanced talks with Burnley about signing Dwight McNeil for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old is undergoing a medical at Finch Farm, and the deal is expected to be completed within the next 24 hours.
McNeil has plenty of Premier League experience, having played top-flight 134 times for Burnley.
West Ham and Crystal Palace were also interested in signing the attacking midfielder.
McNeil's current Burnley contract expires in two years, with the Clarets having the option to extend it by another year.
