Paul Okoye, one half of the iconic Nigerian music duo P-Square, has boldly asserted that the entertainment sector is the only part of Nigeria that is developing.
He said in a tweet on Wednesday 4th July 2022:"Imagine the only thing that is moving forward in Nigeria is something that the government are not in control of #music."
Paul Okoye's reflections after P-attendance Square's as an extremely special guest at Afronation Portugal 2022.
It might be acknowledged that Nigeria's creative industry is the most promising sector of the Nigerian economy given the consistent growth the country's music and entertainment industries have experienced.
Nigerian youngsters would be expecting to reverse this during the 2023 Presidential elections. There are several variables, both political, economic, and social, that account for why the success recorded in the Nigerian music industry has not been reproduced in other important sectors of the country.
Both Paul and Peter Okoye, P-Square, have publicly said that they favor a particular candidate in the upcoming elections, and their decisions may have been motivated by a desire for other facets of society to achieve the same success as the entertainment business.
