Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed an interest in leaving Manchester United this summer.
The 37-year-old Portugal International wants to leave the Red Devils after the Manchester club failed to secure Champions League qualification and win a trophy in the just concluded season.
Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford from Juventus last summer and scored 24 goals in 38 games, but it wasn’t enough as Manchester United finished 6th, conceded 57 goals and got 58 points in 38 games; the lowest point the Devils have gotten a Premier League in over a decade.
Nearing the end of his legendary career, the 37-year-old feels the need to win even more, but he believes that it won't be possible at Old Trafford next season. The 2021/22 season was United's fifth consecutive without a trophy.
