The Senate Plenary that turned rowdy on Wednesday over the primaries conducted by the All Progressives Congress in Akwa Ibom State.
A Senator from Akwa Ibom, Bassey Akpan had raised a point of order to tell the Senate about ‎how the APC primary allegedly threatened the peace in the state.
He also said the PDP was ready for a peaceful contest in the state.
This did not go down well with former Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, who also hails from the state and recently defected from the PDP to APC and raised a point of order apparently to respond to Akpan.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki, however, said Akpabio could only speak from the seat allocated to him.
