President MUHAMMADU BUHARI is not backing down on his order on shoot at sight against anyone carrying AK-47 riffles without authorization just as he directed security agencies to go harder on criminals.
He vowed that the federal government will not hesitate to take all necessary actions against anyone found illegally with AK-47.
President BUHARI emphasis at a meeting with the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria at the State House, co-chaired by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji MUHAMMAD ABUBAKAR III and the Ooni of Ife, Oba ADEYEYE OGUNWUSI.
He expressed dismay over the attacks on police stations and killings of security personnel by criminals, warning that no investor will invest in a country that is unsafe.
However, most Nigerians who have reacted on the shoot at sight order warned that security agencies may abuse the directive in their dealing with innocent Nigerians.
