Nigeria has recorded 287 new cases of coronavirus and 8 deaths
This brings the total number of cases in the country to 159,993 while 142,404 patients have been treated from the virus and discharged.
The number of death from the virus also rose to 2001.
The breakdown of the 287 new cases show that Lagos tops the list with-107, Kwara-26, Akwa Ibom-23, Bauchi-22, Ogun-21, Rivers 19, Kaduna-14, FCT-11, Abia-8, Edo-8, Ekiti-5, Gombe-4, Osun-4.
Other states with new cases are; Oyo-3, Plateau-4, Nasarrawa-2, Delta-1.
