Nigeria has recorded 269 new cases of coronavirus and 5 deaths.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to158,506 out of which 137,875 cases have been treated and discharged.
The death toll from the deadly coronavirus also increased to 1,969 across all states in the country.
The 269 new cases were reported from 19 states- Enugu recorded the highest number of cases with 78, Bauchi (37), Rivers (22), Imo (18), Ogun (16), FCT (15), Akwa-Ibom (13) among others.
