The women’s national team, the Super Falcons were victorious at the Festival Women’s Cup 2021 Antalya, an invitational tournament in Turkey.
The Falcons recorded 1-0 wins against beat Uzbekistan and CSKA Moscow at the four-team tournament, before demolishing Equatorial Guinea 9-0 on Tuesday.
Head coach Randy Waldrum has been lauded for his team’s performance at the competition.
Former Falcons and Rivers Angels star Nwadike commended Waldrum and his women for a job well done.
