Nigeria has recorded 23 new deaths and 542 new confirmed cases of coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 152,616 out of which 129,300 cases have been treated and discharged.
The death toll from the deadly coronavirus also increased to 1,862 in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
