Nigeria has recorded 8 new deaths and 521 new confirmed cases of coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to152,074 out of which 128,619 cases have been treated and discharged.
The death toll from the deadly coronavirus also increased to 1,839in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 521 new cases were reported from 20 states- Lagos tops the list with 166 cases, followed by Ogun with (52), Rivers (47), Adamawa and Ebonyi with 37 cases each, Akwa Ibom 25 and Osun with 21 cases among others.
