The Super Falcons are gearing up for their 2024 Olympic qualifying fixture against Ethiopia, and their journey commences this Sunday as they head to Addis Ababa for the first leg of the competition.
The team includes four home-based players: Comfort Folorunso, Opeyemi Ajakaye, Jumoke Alani, and Monle Oyono. They will leave Abuja alongside team officials and later be joined by their foreign-based counterparts in Addis Ababa.
The first leg of this second-round clash is scheduled to take place in Addis Ababa on Wednesday, October 25. Subsequently, the reverse fixture will be hosted at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, October 31.
The Super Falcons are determined to secure a spot in the 2024 Olympics, having missed out on the last three editions. The upcoming fixtures are a crucial step in their pursuit of Olympic qualification.
