President Bola Tinubu will deliver a national broadcast at 7:00 AM on Wednesday, June 12, to mark the 25th anniversary of Democracy Day. This announcement was made on Tuesday, June 11, by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

Ngelale advised television, radio, and other electronic media outlets to tune into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) to air the President’s address.

"President Bola Tinubu will address the nation in a broadcast on the occasion of Democracy Day at 7:00 AM on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are encouraged to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast," the statement read.
