Nigerian Ports Authority Set To End Lockdown In Apapa

The Lagos State government and the leadership of the Nigerian Port Authority say they are prepared for the trial phase of the much talked about electronic Call-Up System which is intended to ease traffic gridlock around Apapa ports.

Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU made this known when he received the NPA Managing Director, HADIZA BALA USMAN at the State House, Alausa.

BALA USMAN said the visit to the State House was to brief the governor on the status of the electronic call-up platform which would take effect from Saturday, February 27.

In his response, Governor SANWOOLU commended the NPA for their dedication towards ending the Apapa gridlock and expressed optimism on the transparency and full implementation of the electronic call-up system.
