Nigerian Afrobeats singer and grandson of Fela Kuti, Made, shared a heartwarming tale of how he and his wife, Indeoye, met during their secondary school days.

In an interview with Bella Naija on their wedding day, November 1, 2023, the bride revealed that they first crossed paths in high school, where Made was her school senior. They were close friends back then, but after graduation, they went their separate ways. It wasn't until seven years later, after Made returned from his university studies in London, that they reconnected.

Indeoye recounted their story, saying, "We met in high school. Funny story. He was my school senior. He was a very good school senior. We didn't talk again after high school until much later, while I was in university. After he graduated, we became Facebook friends first. Then, from Facebook friends, he came back to Nigeria in 2018. That's when we began dating, and here we are."

Made confirmed the story, emphasizing the ease with which they rekindled their friendship due to their shared history. Their romantic journey officially began in 2020.

"About seven years later, in 2018, like she said, I came back from Uni and had just graduated, and it picked up from there. We had history and a bright future, apparently," Made recounted with a beaming smile.

The couple's relationship endured for three years before they celebrated their wedding on their third anniversary, November 1, 2023. Their wedding was an intimate affair held in Lagos, attended by family and close friends, with an exclusive guest list. Despite the privacy of the venue, their union was shared with the world through a live Instagram stream.
