 WEST BROMWICH ALBION STRIKER DANIEL STURRIDGE RULED OUT FOR TWO WEEKS AFTER MONDAY NIGHT INJURY AGAINST CHELSEA

West Bromwich Albion Manager ALAN PARDEW says England striker DANIEL STURRIDGE is expected to make a quick return from the hamstring injury he sustained in the opening minutes of their 3-0 Premier League defeat to champions Chelsea last night.

STURRIDGE, who joined West Brom on loan from Liverpool in January, picked up the knock during his third appearance for the bottom-placed side; he will now be sidelined for two weeks.

West Brom plays Southampton in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday followed by a league fixture against Huddersfield Town on February 24.
