Organizers of the Nigeria National League, has slammed a Five-Year-Ban on Lagos state based Football Club, My People Fc.
The Club owned by Pastor, televangelist and philanthropist, TEMITOPE (T.B) JOSHUA was withdrawn from the League following cumulative violation of competition rules, as it failed to honour MATCH DAY 29, 30, 31, and 32.
NNL Chief Operating Officer, LAWRENCE KATKEN said all matches involving My People, played and not played consequently have been cancelled
This also means that points garnered by clubs that played My People have been duly deducted; this is as currently and appropriately reflected in the latest Southern Conference log.
Aside the five-year-ban, My People FC will pay a fine of Five Million Naira to the coffers of the league body for bringing the game into disrepute.
