 OYO STATE GOVERNMENT TO BUILD EMERGENCY TELEPHONE CENTRE TO ENSURE SECURITY OF LIVES AND PROPERTY

The Board of Trustees of Oyo State Security Trust Fund has assured security agencies in the state of necessary support towards securing lives and properties of the citizens and to build an Emergency Telephone Centre to aid security in the state.

The Secretary of OYSTTF, Mr. FEMI OYEDIPE in Ibadan said the board under the leadership of Chief BAYO ADELABU, the Deputy Governor, Operations of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) resolved at its last board meeting to always come to the aid of security agencies in the state as well as improving security.

OYEDIPE, quoting the Chairman, Mr ADELABU, noted that the board is aware of the shortfall from the federal government to security agencies, stating that the board has aligned with the existing programmes of Senator ABIOLA AJIMOBI in ensuring that security of lives and property remains a cardinal point of the government.

Mr. OYEDIPE said the board commended Governor AJIMOBI for his continued commitment to all the security agencies, stressing that all hands will be put on deck to ensure the sustenance of peace in the state.
