 FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER, GEOFFREY ONYEAMA SAYS TERRORISM AND REPATRIATION OF STOLEN FUNDS WILL BE ON THE FRONT BURNER AT U.N GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, GEOFFREY ONYEAMA has revealed plans on issues which Nigeria will be presenting during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) set to hold in New York, next week.

ONYEAMA said in Abuja that terrorism and repatriation of stolen funds will form the core of the country’s agenda at the UNGA, that the Federal Government is planning to seek assistance from more countries across the world for the repatriation of stolen funds stashed in their countries.

The minister noted that the major global challenge is the issue of terrorism and it is one of the priorities Mr. President has identified and the country is fully engaged in identifying it.
