Popularly Nigeria musician, KINGSLEY OKONKWO, a.k.a KCEE, says his Anambra governorship ambition is being hampered by some stalwarts in his party, who insist in playing money politics.
KCEE recently announced plans to contest the November 18, 2017 governorship election in the state.
KCEE, who featured in an interview programme in Lagos on Sunday, said it was time for young people to work together and enthrone leaders with the right set of values rather than those with nothing but bags of money to throw around.
Reacting to suggestions that his political declaration may have been a mere stunt to sell his new album, Attention to Detail, the Limpopo crooner insisted that he only wanted to leverage on his status to serve his people and not necessarily pull a stunt.
KCEE opted to remain silent on the political party he belongs to or if his name will appear on the ballot paper come November 18.
