A nurse who allegedly administered injections on late Senator ISIAKA ADELEKE, on Thursday disclosed that he has been administering injections on the deceased lawmaker for a long time.
Testifying before the coroner ordered by the Osun State Governor, ALFRED ADERIBIGBE said he met the deceased lawmaker over 20 years ago while working at the State Hospital, Ede, when he treated ADELEKE’s daughter.
Led in evidence by LEKAN ALABI, his counsel, ADERIBIGBE, said after treating ADELEKE’s daughter, the lawmaker asked him to see him regularly.
He said the Late ADELEKE was hypertensive and had other medical personnel treating him.
The lead pathologist, Dr TAIWO SHOLAJA, who carried out the autopsy on the body of the late Senator ISIAKA ADELEKE, had told a coroner inquest on Wednesday that the late senator died of aspiration of gastric content due to multiple drug overdose.
