PLATEAU UNITED EYES NIGERIAN PROFFESIONAL LEAGUE TITLE

Plateau United aims to become the first North-Central team to win the Nigerian Professional Football League title in 18 years.

The Jos based team finished the first half of the season atop of the NPFL log with two-point advantage over second placed MFM FC.

Speaking to Inspiration FM Sports desk, Manager of Plateau United, ABEL ILYA THOMAS expressed confidence in the team to maintain their enviable form.

THOMAS also believes the League leaders will eventually achieve its target of being the first team from the North Central part of Nigeria to win the NPFL since Lobi Stars lifted the title in 1999.

Plateau United resume NPFL activities on May 21 with a match day 20 clash away at Katsina United.
