PDP will no longer condone indiscipline – Makarfi

The Chairman of National Caretaker Committee of Peoples Democratic Party, AHMED MAKARFI, has warned that the party would no longer condone any act of indiscipline from members.

He gave the warning while inaugurating a 37-member Caretaker Committee for the Anambra chapter of the party on Tuesday in Abuja.

He said that the party’s leadership was already witnessing some form of indiscipline from some members, and warned that any act of indiscipline would be sanctioned promptly.

AHMED MAKARFI also disclosed that the party is making moves to bring back to its fold former President OLUSEGUN OBASANJO and former Vice-President ABUBAKAR ATIKU.

OBASANJO left the party after he tore his membership card before the 2015 general elections while ATIKU defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The opposition PDP also inaugurated a Disciplinary Committee led by Chief TOM IKIMI with a mandate to work with the reconciliation committee to ensure that all aggrieved members return to the party.
