The House of Representatives has summoned the Ministers of Interior and Defence, including all Service Chiefs to a closed-door meeting on the rampant incidents of kidnapping in the country.
The summon follows a motion sponsored by Representative YAKUBU BADEH, who drew the attention of the House to the growing menace of kidnapping in Kaduna state.
Other lawmakers who have similar issues in their areas are in support of the motion.
The lawmakers finally resolved to have the Ministers of Interior and Defence, and the National Security Adviser appear before the House next week.
They are to be accompanied by all service chiefs where they will address the concerns of lawmakers in a closed door session.
