ACTING PRESIDENT OSINBAJO LAUNCHES RELIEF PLAN FOR DISPLACED PERSONS IN NORTH EAST AS HE VISITS MAIDUGURI DESPITE BOKO HARAM ATTACK

Acting President YEMI OSINBAJO officially flagged off the distribution of 30 metric tonnes of grains to persons displaced by Boko Haram insurgents in the North East in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.

Mr OSINBAJO’s visit yesterday is part of the federal government’s quarterly special intervention programmed set up to alleviate the people suffering.

He defied all security threats in the area after Wednesday’s terror attack on Jidda Polo community on the outskirt of the state capital.
