FORMER LAWMAKER, JUNAID MUHAMMED SAYS THE NORTH WILL INSIST ON TWO TERMS IF PRESIDENT BUHARI COULD NOT CONTINUE TO RULE THE COUNTRY

A Second Republic House of Representatives member, JUNAID MUHAMMED, has said that if President MUHAMMADU BUHARI fails to continue to lead the country due to his ill health, the North will insist on another two terms in 2019.

MOHAMMED, who made the remark while frowning at the current zoning system in the All Progressives Congress claimed that the North may agitate to see that power remains in the zone should anything, happens to BUHARI.

He said in the course of zoning and rotation, former President UMARU YAR’ADUA died in office, and the years he ought to have spent in office were not compensated for.

The former lawmaker said unless something is done to fix the zoning and rotation arrangement, the north will agitate for the completion of their mandate should something happens to President BUHARI.
