Plateau United has announced the signing of former Golden Eaglets star, Stanley Okoro the ‘Little Messi’.
The NPFL leaders with 35 points from 19 matches have revealed the signing of eight players ahead of the commencement of the second round. They will begin the second round on May 21 with a road tie against Katsina United.
Okoro, who starred for Nigeria in the 2009 FIFA U17 World Cup and nicknamed the ‘Little Messi’ for his amazing performance during the tournament, topped the list of the new players that have pitched their tent at the Jos based club.
The eight players includes; two from Plateau United team B, three are players of the team who were not registered at the beginning of the season due to unforseen circumstances while the remaining are joining from other clubs.
CHAN 2016 attacking midfielder Bature Yaro has joined the club from Wikki Tourists. Others are Hamza Awolabi, Myep Bulus-Ghai, Emmanuel Odafe, Daddy Morris, Clinton Peter and Damian Longmiap.
