A former First Lady of Lagos State, ABIMBOLA FASHOLA says the youths should be constructively engaged in the quest for the attainment of national and personal goals.
Speaking during the 8th edition in the series of “Time Out with the Youths”, organised by her pet project — Leadership Empowerment and Resources Network, ABIMBOLA FASHOLA said older generation should help prepare the youths for leadership positions and other future challenges.
She said her passion was to impact positively on the youths and also help them to achieve their dreams through right guidance.
Also speaking at the occasion, a former Deputy Governor of the state, ADEBISI SOSAN, advised the youths to take advantage of the programme and strive to actualize their dreams.
One of the Guest speakers at the event, Dr. OTIVE IGBUZOR said most African countries had failed to recognize the youths as the “backbone of development”.
Project Manager LEARN, Mrs. BISI AWOYOMI told the gathering that the intervention by the body had made great impact on the lives of youths in the state and beyond since its inception.
