Eagles hold Senegal in International Friendly

The Super Eagles of Nigeria played out a one-one draw against Senegal in an international friendly in London on Thursday night.

The first half was largely uneventful, but veteran striker Moussa Sow gave Senegal the lead early in the second-half.

Kelechi Iheanacho drew Nigeria level seven minutes from time from the penalty spot to preserve Gernot Rohr’s unbeaten record as Super Eagles manager.

Next up for the national team is another friendly against Burkina Faso- also in London- as they continue their preparations for upcoming World and African Nations Cup qualifiers.
