Multiple explosions in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, North East Nigeria has killed four people while fifteen others sustained injury.
The blasts are said to have occurred early this morning at an Internally Displaced Peoples camp located at Muna Garage in the state capital.
Confirming the incident, the commissioner of police, Borno Command, Mr DAMIAN CHUKWU, who visited the scene of the blasts, said the explosions happened around 4:30am.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Borno state, VICTOR ISUKU also told Inspiration FM that the explosions occurred simultaneously at three different locations in IDPs camps that are unofficially recognized.
VICTOR ISUKU commended the efforts of emergency aid workers for their prompt response.
