Anxiety holds sway in Edo state chapter of the APC over delayed appointment of members of the State Executive Council by Obaseki

Anxiety holds sway in the Edo State chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, over what some leaders perceive as unnecessary delay in the appointment of members of the state Executive Council by Governor GODWIN OBASEKI.

But the Secretary to the Edo State Government, OSARODION OGIE, dismissed issue of delay, explaining that the process of appointing commissioners was on and that the governor needed to set up a template for the commissioners to tap into when they come on board.

According to him, there is no delay at all because when a new government comes it is expected to take stock, look around and know how to run the administration before making appointments.

OGIE added that priorities need to be gotten right, saying that the governor is someone who likes things to be done properly.
