Reactions have continued to trail the re-nomination of IBRAHIM MAGU as the Substantive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC by President MUHAMMADU BUHARI.
Speaking in a telephone interview with Correspondent THELMA ILEMS, Constitutional Lawyer, FRED NZEAKO described the move as a welcome development.
NZEAKO said there have been no accurate facts stating what MAGU’s offences really are. He berated the DSS for indicting him in allegations of corruption saying the security agency has no moral standing.
NZEAKO called on the Senate to shelve its personal vendetta against MAGU and perform its obligations.
