Amnesty International asks FG to redouble efforts to ensure release of victims of Mass abduction.

As the nation marks 1000 days of the abduction of Chibok school girls, the Amnesty International has asked the federal government to redouble efforts to ensure the release of the girls and all other victims of mass abduction.

The demand is coming few days after one of the abducted Chibok girls taken from their school’s dormitory on April 14, 2014 was recovered by the military with her six-month-old baby.

The Bring Back Our Girls campaign group however asked president MUHAMMADU BUHARI to move faster so that the remaining girls can be rescued alive.

Led by the former Minister of Education, OBY EZEKWESILI, members of the group embarked on a peaceful protest to the Villa, sang solidarity song but were denied access by the police.
