President BUHARI has sworn in the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice WALTER NKANU ONNOGEN.
Justice ONNOGHEN, an indigene of Cross River State was born in nineteen fifty and became a Justice of the Supreme Court in two thousand and five.
He is taking over from former Chief Justice of Nigeria, MAHMUD MOHAMMED whose retirement commenced after he turned seventy yesterday.
President BUHARI congratulated ONNOGHEN for on his appointment.
Speaking after the swearing in ceremony, Justice ONNOGHEN assured of his fullest cooperation as head of the judiciary with other arms of government with his intentions aimed at carrying on with a better judiciary.
