EFCC arrested former FCT Minister, BALA MOHAMMED over alleged fictitious contracts worth one Billion Naira and the allocation of twelve properties and thirty seven commercial plots of land to a suspected front.
He is also being quizzed over a controversial Abuja land swap deal put at a whopping one trillion naira.
Reports say prior to the arrest of former Minister MOHAMMED, the EFCC had interrogated top directors of the FCT ministry.
Those quizzed included the Director of Treasury, IBRAHIM BOMOI, his counterpart in charge of land, BABAYO MAINASARA and the Director in Charge of Abuja Geographical Information Service, JAMILA TANGAZA.
The commission also reportedly questioned the son of the former minister, SAMSHUDEEN BALA and seized three duplexes belonging to him.
