Senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI has also added his voice to the anti-corruption fight embarked upon by the BUHARI-led All Progressives Congress.
SARAKI said the APC as a party should not be just a mantra or a tool of political witch hunt but should be a collective responsibility of everybody to rid the country of impunity and hardship.
SARAKI gave the remark at the opening of the National Anti-corruption summit held at the Nigerian Air force Center in Abuja.
He said the anti-corruption fight must remain driven by a well articulated and delivered strategy that is robust, multifaceted and driven by leadership across all aspect of the political and social systems.
SARAKI also said that for the anti-corruption fight to be successful, the judiciary must be insulated from political interference and must not have its integrity questioned on the vantage point of harbouring bad eggs.
He however said that it is no longer acceptable that the country operates a judicial system where there are conflicting judgments issued from courts of coordinate jurisdiction over matters similar in fact and in law.
