Gernot Rohr is acting like a technical adviser, not just to the Super Eagles, but to all of Nigeria’s national teams.
He had paid a visit to the training base of the Super Falcons ahead of next month’s Africa Women Cup of Nations which will hold in Cameroon from the 19th of November; and this time around, he has paid a visit to the camp of the U-20 Women’s team, the Falconets, who are getting ready for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Papua New Guinea which starts next month.
In Rohr’s words, “Nigeria is a strong contender for the trophy. This is a team that fought till the end in the last tournament and I believe they can make history again.
”I want the team to understand the importance of team work because it is the bedrock for the success of any team. I want the girls to be humble at all times and respect their opponents.”
