Professor of Criminology, FEMI ODEKUNLE has described the recent arrest of some senior lawyers by operatives of the Department of State Services as a demonstration of political will to fight the menace of corruption in the country.
He said the BUHARI-led administration has gained a lot of confidence from Nigerians who also believe the era of business as usual is over in the country.
While speaking on a monitored televised programme, Professor FEMI ODEKUNLE said the criticism that followed the arrest by the Nigeria Bar Association was to whip up unnecessary sentiments.
According to him, some members of the NBA may be asked to answer questions when the trial of the arrested judges kicks off.
Professor FEMI ODEKUNLE who is a member of the presidential Advisory Committee on Anti-corruption want President BUHARI to go a step further in the corruption fight by looking into the books of past administrations in the country.
