We are hearing this hour that Boko Haram has released about twenty-one of the abducted Chibok school girls to the Nigerian Government.
According to reports, the girls were picked up by a military helicopter from Banki area of Borno state where the terrorist group dropped them off earlier today.
The reported release of these girls may be part of negotiations initiated by the presidency to secure the freedom of the girls.
A top presidency official has told Inspiration Fm that security agencies will confirm if the report is true or not.
Recall that the Islamic sect had in 2014 abducted over 200 girls from their dormitory in government Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State.
