The Court of Appeal sitting for the hearing of the League Management Company (LMC) appeal against an order of Jos High Court suspending the Nigerian Professional Football League scheduled for Tuesday, October 11, has been adjourned.
The judge was unavailable for the hearing due to the Judiciary clampdown by the President, Muhammadu Buhari.
However, a new date has been fixed for November 9.
The LMC were given a stay of execution following the suit filed by a Giwa FC fan which demanded the club be reinstated to the just concluded 2015/2016 season.
Meanwhile, the LMC Chairman Mallam Shehu Dikko, has described the latest attempt by policemen to arrest him as outrageous and bad publicity for the Super Eagles.
