Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier has been given a suspended two-month prison sentence for allegedly attacking a police officer.
Aurier appeared at the Correctional Court in Paris on Monday to face charges over an incident outside a nightclub in the city in May.
He was arrested following an argument with police in the early hours of May 30 and put in a holding cell for “using violence on a police officer.”
After hearing the case, the prosecutor requested a two-month suspended sentence with community service.
He will remain free pending an appeal, which means he could play for PSG in the Champions League on Wednesday.
