Chief justice of Nigeria, Mahmoud Mohammed says the national judicial council is investigating judges who are in the habit of delivering conflicting judgement on some issues

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice MAHMOUD MOHAMMED says the National Judicial Council NJC is investigating judges who are in the habit of delivering conflicting judgements on some issues.

Delivering an address at the special session of the Supreme Court to mark the commencement of the arrest of the 2016/2017 legal year and swearing in of new Senior Advocates of Nigeria, JUSTICE MOHAMMED said the NJC had received petitions against some of the judges.

He said the petitions were being investigated.
