IBRAHIM GEIDAM, Governor of Yobe state seeks about 20billion Naira from the Federal Government to rebuild infrastructure in the state.

The Yobe state government is seeking about twenty billion naira from the federal government to rebuild infrastructure and private property damaged by Boko Haram insurgents in the state.

Governor IBRAHIM GEIDAM who stated this after a closed door meeting with President MUHAMMADU BUHARI at the presidential villa said part of the amount would be used to resettle the three thousand Internally Displaced Persons in Yobe.

According to him, until recently, the Boko Haram had occupied the two Local Government Areas of Gulani and Gujba.
