Two days of continuous rains in Lagos and parts of Ogun state have displaced residents and destroyed property estimated at billions of naira.

Our correspondent reports that areas around the Lekki Expressway, Mushin, Agege, Ilasamaja, Ketu experienced heavy flooding as a result of the downpour.

On Sunday, most residents in the two states could not access the roads to their churches as the rain continued to pour for hours.

One resident f the highbrow Lekki Phase One said most streets in the estates have been submerged and the roads inaccessible
