Arsenal are set to complete the signings of Germany international defender, Shkodran Mustafi and Spanish striker Lucas Perez, with both players expected to have their medicals at the north London club on Friday.
Arsenal agreed a deal to sign Spanish striker, Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruna after meeting the player’s £17.1m buyout clause, while Mustafi will join the club for a fee in excess of £35m..
The 27-year-old Perez scored 17 goals in 37 games last season.
Premier League rivals, Everton had been favourites to land Perez’s signature, but Arsenal have hi-jacked the move, and are set to bring the forward to the Emirates Stadium.
The deal had threatened to fall through when Arsenal requested to pay the transfer fee in two instalments, but they have now agreed to meet Deportivo’s demands.
