Buhari receives African Association Automotive Manufacturers, AAAM
President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has met with the Executive Members of the Association of Africa Automotive Manufacturers lamenting that the nation had failed in the past to capitalize on its economic potentials.
While receiving the group led by the chairman, JEFF NEMETH at the Villa, President BUHARI said that to reverse the trend we must avoid the mistakes made in the past by both government and manufacturers.
He said his administration is ready to attract investment from all quarters in order to improve the lives of the people.
The President lamented that Nigeria failed to develop on automobile initiatives started in Bauchi, Kaduna and Ibadan, and depended too much on oil as mainstay of her economy.
On his part, JEFF NEMETH said the Association comprised potential investors who were ready to unlock investment potentials on the African continent and sought the support of the Presidency in the realization of their vision.
