French midfielder Paul Pogba’s protracted move to Manchester United is nearing a conclusion after the player was granted permission by current club, Juventus to have a medical with the English giants.
The 23-year-old left United for just £1.5m in 2012, but is set to return for a world record fee of £89m transfer fee- with other costs such as agents fees to be added.
United are still to agree personal terms with the midfielder, although that is expected to be a formality.
Pogba will have a medical in the next few days with the deal due to be completed in midweek.
He will become manager Jose Mourinho’s fourth signing at United, after Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
