There is nothing sectional or selective in the current fight against corruption in the country, insists former head of state, ABDULSALAMI ABUBAKAR

Former Head of State, ABDULSALAMI ABUBAKAR says there is nothing sectional or selective in the current fight against corruption in the country.

He also challenged professional bodies in Nigeria to sanction their members who exhibit corrupt tendencies as he called for total support for President BUHARI’s anti-corruption war.

While making a comment on his Twitter handle, ABDULSALAMI ABUBAKAR said Nigerians were not sincere enough about the anti-corruption campaign, adding that there was nothing sectional or selective about it.

He said the fight must start from somewhere adding if someone is found to be corrupt, definitely he has to be handled that way.

The former military leader said that a lot of things were going wrong in the country because Nigerians placed ethnicity, tribalism and sectionalism far ahead of the unity of the country and national interest.
