The Lagos state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party is insisting that there are corrupt Ministers in the cabinet put together by President MUHAMMADU BUHARI.
The party said its position corroborates the stance of many other observers that some ministers in the cabinet of president BUHARI are not immune from corruption.
The Party in a statement signed by its spokesman, TAOFIK GANI also accused the president himself of only pretending to be corruption free stating that he should make himself available for live questions and answers if indeed he is sure of not being corrupt nor harbouring corrupt persons as ministers.
The position of the opposition PDP is coming on the heels of the pronouncement by the president that his ministers should not be accused of corruption, despite the minister of state for Petroleum, IBE KACHIKWU recently accused of corruption in the oil sector.
He said how can President BUHARI claimed that he was never corrupt when he cannot explain his role in the missing 2.8billion dollars oil windfall in 1977.
TAOFIK GANI noted that as a former minister of petroleum, President BUHARI should also clear his name in the missing funds during his chairmanship of the Petroleum Trust Fund.
