Ikhana takes pay cut to join Shooting Stars

After two hours of negotiations between football stakeholders in Oyo State. Coach Kadiri Ikhana on Monday agreed to a pay cut to join the Oluyole Warriors as technical adviser.

The influential coach who took Enyimba to cup glory last season was on N1.8 million salary at Aba-based club but was persuaded by the  Shooting Stars negotiating crew to take N1.2 million as his monthly wage which equals a staggering N14.4 million per season.

3SC now targets a continental ticket at the end of the season with the veteran at the helm.

The Oluyole Warriors will kickoff their league title account against Lobi Stars in Ibadan at the start of the 2015/16 NPFL season on February 21.
